Gumbs also helped guide the Lady Captains to a Conference Regular Season Title. Gumbs was also nameds Defensive player of the week in the final week of the regular season.
Erin Liberatore and The College of William and Mary off to a great start. The Women’s Soccer team is off to a 9-1-2 start and 4-0 in CAA play...Liberatore has started the season with 3 goals and 2 assists, playing in every game so far for the Tribe. Parker Walton, former FC Richmond Magic player, named MVP of D.C. College Cup

Former FC Richmond Magic Player Receives Post-Season Awards
A former member of the FC Richmond Magic program, and current senior at Hampden-Sydney College, Brett Chonko was recently named to the NSCAA All-South Atlantic Region Team. Chonko, a defender on the Tigers’ squad, was a pivotal figure in HSC’s impressive season. Along with his All-South award, Chonko was named an Academic All-American, First Team Academic All-District, Second Team All-ODAC, and an East All-Region Scholar. Chonko, an English Major, will graduate from Hampden-Sydney this spring. He currently carries a 3.82 GPA. For more on Chonko, and the HSC program, click here.
Stannard Continues in Quest for NCAA Title!
Former FC Richmond Mystx player, Kristin Stannard, helped her Stanford Cardinal defeat Boston College over the weekend 3-1. With the win, Stanford advances to the semifinals of the NCAA Tournament and will play UCLA in the NCAA College Cup Semifinal. That game will be played Friday, December 4, and will be televised on ESPN2 at 5:30 PM EDT.
Stannard was also recently named to Honorable Mention All-Academic Pac-10 Team. For selection to this team, a player must have a 3.0 GPA and be either a starter or significant contributor. For more information on the Stanford program,

As the CAA celebrates their 25th anniversary as a conference, they are selecting the top 25 players in each of their respective sports. Kelli Renkin, a product of UNC-W, was honored as a member of this prestigious group.
