Success in College
FC Richmond has many current and former players that have had great success in their college soccer careers.  As we hear of these accomplishments, we will use this page to update everyone.
 
 
Parker Walton, former FC Richmond Magic player, named MVP of D.C. College Cup
Walton, a senior at George Mason, led the Patriots to the D.C. College Cup Championship.  In the process, he was named MVP of the tournament.  Check out the entire article and a brief video interview with Walton by clicking here.
 
Erin Liberatore and The College of William and Mary off to a Great Start!
Erin Liberatore and her Tribe teammates are off to a 4-0-1 record and a current a national ranking of #14.  Follow the College of William and Mary and the women's soccer team by clicking here.
 
Magic '91, Dylan Bowman, Helping Princeton Tigers.
Former Magic '91 player, Dylan Bowman, is seeing solid minutes in his freshman year at Princeton University.  Princeton, a NCAA tournament team from 2009, is looking to continue their tradition of success.  To follow Dylan and his Tiger teammates, click here.
 
FC Richmond Mystx Player Helping CNU to Early Success.
Meghan Gumbs, former Mystx '90 player, is currently the starting goalkeeper at Christopher Newport University.  Check out the article on CNU's win over Montclair St (Meghan recorded the win) by clicking here
 
Former FC Richmond Magic Player Receives Post-Season Awards
A former member of the FC Richmond Magic program, and current senior at Hampden-Sydney College, Brett Chonko was recently named to the NSCAA All-South Atlantic Region Team.  Chonko, a defender on the Tigers' squad, was a pivotal figure in HSC's impressive season.  Along with his All-South award, Chonko was named an Academic All-American, First Team Academic All-District, Second Team All-ODAC, and an East All-Region Scholar.  Chonko, an English Major, will graduate from Hampden-Sydney this spring.  He currently carries a 3.82 GPAFor more on Chonko, and the HSC program, click here.
 
 
 
Stannard Continues in Quest for NCAA Title!
Former FC Richmond Mystx player, Kristin Stannard, helped her Stanford Cardinal defeat Boston College over the weekend 3-1.  With the win, Stanford advances to the semifinals of the NCAA Tournament and will play UCLA in the NCAA College Cup Semifinal.  That game will be played Friday, December 4, and will be televised on ESPN2 at 5:30 PM EDT
 
Stannard was also recently named to Honorable Mention All-Academic Pac-10 Team.  For selection to this team, a player must have a 3.0 GPA and be either a starter or significant contributor.  For more information on the Stanford program, click here.
 
Former Mystx Player in NCAA Tournament!
Former FC Richmond Mystx player, and current Stanford Cardinal, Kristin Stannard has helped to guide her team to another NCAA Tournament apperance.  Check out Kristin's thoughts on the Cardinal's undefeated regular season and the 1st and 2nd round of the NCAA Tournament.  Stannard's Perspective
 
Ian Stowe and Nick Orozco having solid seasons for the College of William and Mary.
Former Magic players, Ian Stowe and Nick Orozco are having very good seasons, as the Tribe has started the season 6-3.  For more informaiton on the players and the program, click here.

Kelli Renkin, former Mystx player, named to CAA 25th Anniversary Team. 
As the CAA celebrates their 25th anniversary as a conference, they are selecting the top 25 players in each of their respective sports.  Kelli Renkin, a product of UNC-W, was honored as a member of this prestigious group.
