Welcome to the 2009 Richmond Cup Invitational Tournament
Richmond Cup Tournament...Off and Running!!!!!!!!  FC Richmond's annual Labor Day Tournament, the Richmond Cup, is off and running over this beautiful Labor Day Weekend. With games being played across the Southside area of Richmond, the action will be great all weekend. The highlight of the weekend is the VW Site located at Providence Middle and the VW Junior Masters Qualifying Tournament for the top U12 Boys Division. For  more pictures of the VW Site, click here. Exciting News Regarding FC Richmond Richmond Cup 2009!!!
In a joint effort with Volkswagen and MLS, FC Richmond is excited to announce that the 2009 Richmond Cup (Labor Day) Tournament will be a U12 Boys Qualifying event for the Volkswagen Junior Masters. The winner of the top U12 Boys Division will head to Washington D.C. in October to compete against other U.S. regional qualifiers in an effort to make it to South Africa and the Volkswagen Junior Masters.

Acceptance:
Acceptance emails will be sent out to each team as well as posted on the tournament website.
Hotel Policy:
The tournament strongly recommends that you book your rooms using Outer Zone Sports. As tournament director I work closely with Outer Zone so that we will be able to provide your teams the best chance to secure rooms closest to your site. Outer Zone will be made aware of age group and site placement of teams in a timely manner so that you can make your best selection.
Also, by booking through Outer Zone, you will also receive the tournaments guarantee that in the event the tournament has to be cancelled for weather on Friday (before 4:00 PM), your team will not be obligated to pay even 1 nights hotel expense. If you choose to book on your own and the tournament is cancelled Friday, you will incur at least 1 night's hotel expense, if not both nights!! This can be a very costly gamble by teams. We recommend that you protect your team!
Tournament Cancellation Policy:
If games are canceled once the tournament has commenced, there will be no reimbursement. Should the event be canceled prior to any play, your team will be issued a partial monetary refund within 45 days.
