FC Richmond experienced a truly special evening at the VYSA Awards Gala last night as two of our former players, Trip Ellis and Kristin Stannard, were inducted into the Virginia-DC Hall of Fame.

Trip Ellis, FC Richmond’s current Executive Director, and Kristin Stannard, were honored for their outstanding achievements on the soccer field during their formative years. What makes their induction even more significant is their shared background of playing under the guidance of Dave Amsler, the founder of FC Richmond. Amsler's influence and mentorship undoubtedly played a pivotal role in shaping their skills and nurturing their passion for the sport.

Trip and Kristin’s induction into the Hall of Fame not only highlights their individual talent and dedication but also reflects the excellence of FC Richmond's youth development program. It underscores the club's commitment to nurturing young soccer talent and providing them with opportunities to excel at the highest levels.

It was a very special night of celebration for Trip and Kristin, and their families. Congratulations!
