Build Your Soccer Skills, Raise Funds for the Future!
WHAT: The Juggle Challenge is a fun way to work on important soccer skills, friendly competitions with your teammates and clubmates, and raise money for a great cause.
WHEN: Players will perform their “official” juggles at practices the week of October 14 with a celebration event held on Friday, October 25. Prizes will be distributed at the event for top jugglers, top fundraisers, and more!
WHERE: Official juggles will take place at practice locations.
The Juggle Challenge Celebration will take place at Robious Middle School soccer fields, 2801 Robious Crossing Drive.
WHO: FC Richmond travel players, U9-U19 are encouraged to sign up.
WHY: Juggling is an important skill for players to master as it helps to develop a controlled first touch and can improve coordination, focus, and ball control. Through repetition, players will touch the ball thousands of times while being challenged to beat their best consecutive score. This training requires patience, perseverance and discipline which are all great attributes of an athlete.
The Juggle Challenge is part of our on-going efforts to fundraise for the new FC Richmond Field Complex. Last year, we raised over $24k through this event and hope to make an even greater impact this year!
PRACTICE & PRIZES: Players should practice juggling at home and at training to challenge themselves to beat previous records. At a designated practice the week of October 14th, players will have 10 minutes to achieve their best consecutive juggling record that will be entered into their Pledge It page. Awesome PRIZES will be awarded to top jugglers, top fundraisers, and more!
PLAYER SIGN UP: Participants are asked to create their Pledge It account for the Juggle Challenge. SIGN UP HERE. Those who participated last year can use the same login. Each juggler you register must use a separate unique email.
ACT NOW: Encourage family and friends to donate flat donations or rate per juggle (e.g., Off$5/juggle) to your page! FC Richmond is a 501c3 non-profit organization and all donations are tax-deductible.
