SPRING REGISTRATION FOR THE ADVANCED DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM OPEN!

The Advanced Development Program (ADP) is designed to help transition players from recreational to travel soccer. With professional coaching and an age-appropriate curriculum, the players will have fun all while being introduced to the technical, tactical, mental, and physical sides of the game. The goal of the program is to provide the fundamental skills that will help prepare your child for 7v7 travel soccer in our Futures Program that begins at U9.

Drop in and try out a session! Sunday, January 12th -OR- Sunday, January 19th at the Chesterfield County Fairgrounds Building (10300 Courthouse Rd. 23832). This FREE training session will last 60 minutes and is open to any players born in 2017 & 2018.

Program Options: 

• Full Year (Fall '24, Winter '25, Spring '25) - $800 - CLOSED!
• Fall Only - $450 - CLOSED!
• Spring Only - $450

Training Sessions:

• The ADP format will consist of a pool of players who will be placed in small groups each training session 
• Groups of 8-10 players with a coach at each session
• Emphasis on the "Key Topics" mentioned in the above curriculum

Practices: 2 times per week, 60 minutes each during spring and fall; 1 practice per week in the winter 

Games: 6-8 games per season 

Game Format: 3 v 3, 4 v 4, or 5 v 5

League: In-House (with the potential to play against local clubs)

ADP Festivals: Different game styles (for Example 2v2 or multiple goals, etc), 1-2 a season

Fall Calendar:

• Trainings: Begin September 4th, 2024. Trainings take place on Mondays and Wednesdays
• Time: 5:15–6:15 U7's; 6:30-7:30 U8's
• Practice Location: Watkins Elementary School 
• Game Dates: 9/14, 9/21, 9/28, 10/5 (Festival), 10/19, 10/26, 11/2, 11/9 (Festival)
• Game Location: James River High School
• Potential competition against outside opponents
• No Practice on Monday 10/14
• Make up Games can be scheduled on Fridays or Sundays throughout the season

Winter Calendar:

• Training dates: Sunday's - 1/12, 1/19, 2/2, 2/9, 2/16
• Time: 10:00am - 11:00  U7's; 11:00 -12:00 U8's
• Practice Location: Chesterfield County Fairgrounds Building

Spring Calendar:

• Practice start date and game dates are tentative but will be confirmed soon after the turn of the year
• Trainings: Begins on March 3rd 2025, Mondays and Wednesdays 
• Time: 5:15–6:15 U7's; 6:30-7:30 U8's
• Practice Location: JB Watkins Elementary School*
• Game Dates: 3/8, 3/15, 3/22, 3/28 (Friday), 4/12, 4/26, 5/3, 5/10
• Game Location: James River High School
• Potential competition against outside opponents
• Make up Games can be scheduled on Fridays or Sundays throughout the season

In the search bar for “Team Store Name” type “FC Richmond Rec and ADP” then choose Collection "2025 Rec Kit" -- you can enter any last name and choose the number for the jersey  then choose “Go To Team Store” – once there, you should be able to scroll down and select sizes for the items in the kit. If you don’t want all the items in the “kit”, you can add the whole kit to your cart then remove the items you don’t want before finalizing your purchase.
