FC Richmond is excited to announce our new complex is expected to begin construction this fall!

 The next chapter of our FC Richmond (FCR) community begins with a huge step forward in the Fall of 2023: construction is scheduled to begin on our new FCR Soccer Complex! This state-of-the-art soccer facility will be located on Genito Road, in the southwestern part of Chesterfield County. The project, which has been in the planning stage for over six years, recently received zoning approval from the Chesterfield County Board of Supervisors. This marks momentous progress!

In Phase One of the project, we will construct:

• Three full-sized natural bermuda grass fields

• Lighted parking

• Road improvements along Genito Road

• Groundwork for future phases

Phase One is slated for completion for our Spring 2025 season, if not sooner. 

Future phases will include the addition of: 

• Two full-sized feature fields with in-ground stands 

• Three small-sided fields 

• An athletic training area

• A building housing multiple futsal courts, offices, meeting spaces, and restrooms 

• A clubhouse with an alumni grill 

• A Remembrance Garden to honor individuals who have been vital to FCR’s elevated standards of excellence, beginning with our Founder Dave Amsler, Director of Classic Teams Ian Stowe, PDP Director John Le Lay, and Board President Joe Garten. 

We would not be at this point without the generous support from our volunteers, families, coaches, and players over the last 38 years. This new complex will set your club apart and enable us to continue our pursuit to go beyond the game.
