FC Richmond is dedicated to supporting players throughout their soccer career and development. The creation of a College Planning Program allows us to provide more resources and guidance throughout the college recruiting process.

Lucas Paulini currently serves as an Assistant Coach for the VCU Rams Men’s Soccer team. Prior to coaching the Rams, he spent three seasons as an assistant coach at Houston Baptist University where he helped guide the program to 17 wins. 

Prior to joining HBU, Lucas spent two seasons at Virginia Commonwealth University as the Director of Operations where he assisted in planning and conducting daily training sessions, film breakdown and scouting report development.

Lucas, a VCU Men’s Soccer standout, earned CAA All-First Team honors after just one season. He also earned All-Region recognition in each of his four collegiate seasons. He was the first Ram to sign a professional contract under head coach Dave Giffard. He signed with the Atlanta Silverbacks in 2011 where he played for four seasons.
